Paragon is proud to announce the celebration of its 50th anniversary with a Community Open House. We are proud to be a part of Marshall County, and we invite all city and business leaders, former employees, friends, and area citizens to join us. This milestone will be commemorated with a special event on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 with factory tours and refreshments at 8:00 am and 10:00 am. A group photo of all current and former employees will take place at 9:30 am. The 146,000 square foot facility is located at 195 Paragon Drive, Albertville.
“This is a monumental milestone for Paragon,” said Lendell Glassco, Co-President. “We are excited to celebrate 5 decades of excellence, innovation, and growth. We are thankful for the legacy our parents began and look forward to continuing what they started.”
Malanta Glassco-Knowles, Vice President of Marketing and Design, added, “We have been steadfast in our commitment to delivering quality wall décor and fostering lasting relationships. This journey would not have been possible without the dedication of our employees and sales associates, the loyalty of our customers, and the unwavering support of our business partners”.
“Through the years, God has blessed our company in both good times and challenges,” said Vince Glassco, Co-President. “We are deeply grateful for His watchful care and the opportunity for abundant life now and for eternity through faith in Jesus Christ.”

The Legacy of Innovation and Excellence
The Paragon journey began with Bonnie and the late Wendell Glassco, who founded Carousel Decors to provide decorative accessory packages to the manufactured housing industry. In 1975, they purchased a local competitor, Paragon, marking the start of a new legacy.
In 1979, Paragon ventured into framed prints to meet the growing need for affordable framed art in accessory packages. This shift shaped the company’s future, leading to the establishment of Paragon Picture Gallery in 1981 and, by 1989, a complete focus on wall décor.
The second generation of the Glassco family joined the business in the 1980s: Lendell Glassco and Vince Glassco, Co-Presidents, and Malanta Glassco-Knowles, Vice President of Marketing & Design. Today, the third generation is actively involved, with Jordan Glassco-Smith as Sales Manager and Colby Glassco as Operations Manager.
Commitment to Quality and Growth
Paragon has continuously evolved, first with the formation of sister company Propac Images in 1993 offering a promotional line of framed art. Later, Paragon expanded its product line to include higher-end wall décor, mirrors, canvases, and wall sculptures. As the company continued to grow, Paragon acquired high-end wall décor specialist Kinder-Harris (now rebranded as The Studio), adding exclusive hand-painted art and lamps to its assortment. In July 2023, all operations were merged into one company to better meet future opportunities.
Paragon’s commitment to excellence has been and continues to be recognized through multiple industry accolades, including six ARTS Awards recognizing outstanding products and manufacturing of framed art. The company also holds the distinction of being the only wall décor inductee in the ARTS Hall of Fame, recognizing the best-of-the-best in the home accessory industry. As Paragon looks ahead, the Glassco family and our dedicated employees remain committed to doing what is right to ensure continued success while welcoming new opportunities and challenges. In upholding our long-standing tradition of excellence, we stay true to our name—Paragon: a model of excellence. We will continue striving to set the standard in everything we do.
